Our product is scientifically designed to bond with the asphalt elements in your roof shingles. It rejuvenates your shingles ability to retain granules
(most important protection on your roof), reinvigorates all the asphalt layers greatly increasing flexibility (important against wind and hail damage), and increases the ability of your shingles to lay and stay flat (increases ability to resist wind and also provides a more attractive appearance.) By "refilling" your shingle, you gain extra life, a much nicer appearance (close to new) and some resistance from the dreaded "black streaks". It adds 6 years at a time GUARANTEED so you're roof can now last years longer and even outlast some metal or rubber roofs!
Operations
Our service is easy to use, no pressure, safe for the planet, pets, people and property. It's quick with no nails or mess afterward (unlike another layer of shingles or new roof), gets your entire roof examined and minor fixes are identified. If your roof shows too much wear, has obvious imperfections from installation (or repairs) or simply cannot be rejuvenated for any reason, we will let you know. Roofsaver911 will examine your roof, take video or photos and do the small repairs needed, new caulking in worn out areas, new boots on pipes, etc. If there is shingle repair or furnace vent work that needs done, we can refer you to a qualified roofer to do those repairs. We then coat your entire roof (weather permitting) in a few hours and after a few days, it will lay flatter, look newer, hold granules tightly and resist weather and discoloration for another 6 years minimum, GUARANTEED!
History & Information
For decades, the government in Canada and recently in the U.S. has used asphalt rejuvenation to help prolong the lives of roadways by saturating and "refilling" the lost oil part of asphalt in roadways. By re-saturating the asphalt, the roads shed water better, cracks disappear and the roadways can handle the weathering and traffic for an extra few years.
We are all familiar with new asphalt roads that seem like they are going to last for years but after a single year they start to crack and deteriorate. Instead of simply spraying a coating and sealer on top, they are beginning to use a product that saturates and softens the asphalt back to the level of new and self sealing the cracks.
Sealers have their place but if used on a roof, your roof can't "breathe" (expand and contract) and will cause much more serious problems in the future. Heavy elastomeric sealers do exactly that and may work for a season but after a year or two, the heavy sealer will cause more problems than it corrected and then an entire tear off may become necessary.
Our oil replacement is not a covering sealer, paint or elastomeric coating. It soaks and saturates your shingles and actually re-activates the physical properties that your shingle needs to last for years against brutal heating, cooling, expanding, contracting, weathering, wind , rain and hail.

Shingles & Lifespan Longevity
Your asphalt shingles are made of layers and each performs an important and necessary function. The picture on the right shows 2 types of shingles (most commonly sold in US)
Both have a top coat of granules with is very very important for your roofs protection against sun, snow, rain hail, weathering, branches, leaves etc. The are rock, sand, ceramic, etc. granules which act like a shield against physical damage and are adhered to your shingle by the top layer of asphalt.
Between the 2 layers of asphalt is a thin fiberglass mat that helps your roof breathe but also sheds water away thereby making your roof "waterproof"
Our product soaks deeply into the shingle reactivating the layers of asphalt.
This allows the adhesive to be reactivated, holding your shingles down as if they were new and adhering the all important granules tightly back onto the surface for protection. It allows your shingles to be more flexible in case of lift by wind or snow. It "re-fills" the shingle and helps keep the "black streaks" from reappearing..
The reasons for the rapid spread and noticeability of these cyanobacteria are:
- Rising humidity and temperatures combined with more and more bacteria spores promotes their spread with these favorable conditions.
- Fiberglass shingles are made with limestone as a filler (in the asphalt). These shingles hold moisture and organic "bacteria food" material longer (especially on the North-side in the Midwest of the USA) than the paper/asphalt/ceramic shingles of the 1980s. The bacteria are airborne. This cyanobacteria causes substantial destruction to roofs causing shingle decay and loss of reflective power. Over time, Gloeocapsa magma breaks down the shingles by feeding off of the limestone granules embedded in the shingles. This decreases a roof's ability to reflect ultra-violet rays of light and shortens the life of the roof.
